Whats New At the Owen Legacy Group
2025 Q3 Edition

ANNE ASHTON, CFP®, CWS®
Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager
The Ashton family had the most wonderful summer, filled with camps, golf, horseback riding, swimming, family, and endless fun. They spent nearly the entire summer in beautiful Bozeman before heading west for one final adventure — a week in Seattle and Orcas Island with some of their very best friends. The Seattle stop was nonstop excitement: exploring Pike Place Market, sticking gum on the famous Gum Wall, cheering at a Mariners game (where “The Big Dumper” hit his 50th home run!), visiting the newly renovated Seattle Aquarium, touring the Museum of Flight, and, of course, eating their weight in dumplings. From there, they spent four magical days on Orcas Island — exploring nature, watching wildlife, savoring ice cream, and enjoying the slower pace of island life. Now it’s back to routine: school, schedules, and gearing up for winter and ski season. They even spotted their first snow in Kelly Canyon last weekend!

CARRIE MCALEER, CWS®, FPQP®
Senior Registered Practice Coordinator
The McAleer family stayed close to home this summer, soaking up all the beauty and adventure Montana has to offer. July brought a lively Fourth of July celebration, heaps of cousin time, and a trip to Lewistown for a fun-filled family reunion. August and September were packed with golf swings, fishing trips, Digger Days, a visit to the Fairy Houses, and countless outdoor excitement. Brody celebrated his 5th birthday with a neighborhood gathering, complete with cake, laughter, and plenty of smiles. The family completed a small home addition over the summer and has been enjoying the extra space and sunshine it created. As fall settles in, activities are in full swing. Both Brody and Finley are enjoying swim lessons, and Brody has resumed his weekly martial arts class.

BRENDA KITTO, CFP®, CWS®
Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Assistant Branch Manager
Brenda had a wonderful summer taking in many of the outdoor activities the valley has to offer. She floated the Madison River, hiked the trails of Hyalite and Drinking Horse, fished near Radersburg as well as along the Gallatin, and even fit in a few camping trips. Summer quickly turned to fall as volleyball tryouts took place and senior pictures needed to be taken. Brenda is still finding it hard to believe Jenna will be graduating in a few short months. The family found several opportunities to celebrate Jeff as he turned the big 5-0 in early September. As we move deeper into fall, Brenda will be busy with the final days of the volleyball season as well as the beginning of college campus tours. Ready or not, here we go!

SOPHIE MILLINGTON
Registered Client Associate
Sophie wrapped up the summer with a great balance of adventure and relaxation. She spent time cabin camping with friends, enjoying warm evenings outdoors, and fitting in a few final rounds of summer golf. A highlight of the season was cheering on her brother as he played for the MSU Bobcats club baseball team, making the end of summer especially memorable. With fall underway, Sophie is excited to spend her weekends at Bobcat football games and to enjoy the crisp air, colorful scenery, and celebrations that come with the season and months ahead.

ALLEGRA MOHR
Registered Client Associate
The Mohrs have had an extremely busy and fun-filled end to summer here in Bozeman. Allegra’s mom made the drive from Washington State for Labor Day weekend, and they enjoyed lots of hiking, kayaking, and sightseeing together. Next, Allegra and Collin traveled to Phoenix for Collin’s grandma’s 100th birthday party. It was a lovely event, and they really enjoyed the impromptu family reunion in such a beautiful city. Finally, Allegra’s older sister is getting married in April 2026. Allegra traveled to Spokane for some wedding dress shopping and sister time. The Mohrs are looking forward to slowing down a bit as the winter months roll in.

MORGAN OWEN, CFP®
Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager
Morgan and his family had a wonderful summer filled with family, friends, and fun. The Owens had visitors from all over who came to enjoy this year’s amazing weather. They enjoyed taking friends and family out on Ennis Lake, floating down the Madison River, and showing off all that Montana has to offer this time of year. They finished up summer with a trip to Flathead Lake with a group of friends and had a wonderful time unplugging and relaxing. It was more important than ever to recharge this year because Oliver started kindergarten this fall! He is doing great and absolutely loving his class and teacher! We are so excited and proud of him.
