2024 Q2 Edition

MORGAN OWEN, CFP®

Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager

Morgan and Marisa spent most of the second quarter getting ready for baby #2, and on the 4th of July, he came! They were blessed at 3:03 p.m. in the afternoon with a healthy baby boy. Theodore David Owen was born 19.5 inches long and 8 lbs., 1.8 oz. While the rest of the family was enjoying the parade and fireworks in Ennis, Marisa was hard at work bringing the newest Owen grandbaby into the world. Both Theo and Marisa are doing well and enjoying having Morgan around to lend a helping hand. Oliver is extremely excited to have another little boy around and can’t wait ’til he is big enough to play with. Tim, or Poppy as his grandchildren know him, was heard saying “7 grandbabies in 10 years; we are so blessed.” The rest of the family agrees.  Please join us in welcoming the newest member in the Owen family to Bozeman.

ANNE ASHTON, CFP®, CWS®

Senior Vice President, Financial Advisor, Portfolio Manager

Anne and her family are so grateful summer has arrived. Anne has spent many hours gardening, and even though it snowed three time in June, her garden is finally taking off and looking great. The kids are having a wonderful start to summer, no one has said they are bored yet, and they have been enjoying camps and learning how to golf with their dad. Claire graduated from Little Spanish Preschool which will mark the end of 10 years of love and care they have given the family. The Ashtons will have all three children at Hawthorne for one magical year next year as Claire goes to kindergarten. Cole is looking forward to the Riverside member guest golf tournament which he always plays in with his father. The entire Owen/Ashton crew spent the Fourth of July weekend in Ennis and enjoyed the parade and fireworks. The boat decided this was the weekend it was going to need to go to Townsend for a fix; fortunately, they had just purchased a floating play mat which the kids seemed to think was just as fun as tubing.

BRENDA KITTO, CFP®, CWS®

Vice President, Portfolio Manager, Assistant Branch Manager

Brenda spent her spring exactly as anticipated: racking up frequent flier miles traveling from Seattle to Salt Lake, and Dallas to Charlotte for work, volleyball, and family graduations. When June rolled around, the Kitto family celebrated their daughter, Kate, who graduated from 8th grade, and in the blink of an eye, she’ll join her sister at Bozeman High this fall. In mid-June, Brenda took a short reprieve and headed to Arizona to spend a long weekend away, sitting by the pool and shopping, with two of her best friends. Now, with summer officially in Bozeman, she is looking forward to less travel and more time camping and fishing with her family, before school starts and volleyball season begins again.

CARRIE MCALEER, FPQPTM, CWS®

Senior Registered Practice Coordinator

Warmer temperatures have finally arrived, and the McAleer family couldn’t be more excited. They haven’t wasted any time pulling out the yard toys, applying their sunscreen and embracing their favorite time of year. Brody has eagerly been joining his dad at Bridger Creek to play “tap-tap” and has been a big helper in ensuring the family’s small vegetable garden is prepped, planted, and watered. Finley is managing to keep up with her older brother and is overjoyed to finally be big enough to participate in the bouncy house and splash pad fun! Park time, ice cream cones, bare feet, and lots of backyard time have ensured a wonderful start to the sunshine season. The family plans to stay close to home this summer and is looking forward to lots of time spent with extended family and cousins.

ALLEGRA MOHR

Client Associate

This spring has been a blast for the Mohrs. Allegra traveled to Spokane to celebrate her niece’s high school graduation and visit with family. She and her sisters also took a girl’s trip to Missoula to enjoy a long-awaited concert at the Kettlehouse Amphitheatre. Allegra and her husband have spent a lot of time taking advantage of the beautiful outdoor trails and campsites that Montana has to offer. Seeing the lovely landscapes and getting some exercise has been an excellent pastime. The arrival of the warm weather has allowed for a busy and very fun few months. Hopefully this summer continues to bring lots of excitement and outdoor adventures.

KAYLEE REYNOLDS

Client Associate

The Reynolds’ spring has been full of excitement. Kaylee’s little brother graduated from U of M, and she went out to the Oregon coast to spend some time with her cousin. Kaylee and Tanner recently found out that they are having a little baby girl. With the news of the baby, they decided they were going to move back to Butte to be closer to Kaylee’s family. She is sad to be leaving the Bozeman area and is going to miss all the clients that she has had the honor to help over the last couple of years. They are looking forward to many weekends at the lake with family and friends this summer and soaking up the last moments as a family of two.
